Petrofac finishes subse and topsides work associated with Goosander-Kittiwake tieback

(Aberdeen) Petrofac Brownfield has completed work on the subsea tieback of Venture's Goosander field to the Kittiwake platform in the Central North Sea. The development comprises a single production well, connected to the platform via a bundled subsea flowline combining production, gas lift and water injection facilities.
Three new risers have also been installed in a caisson configuration, along with the control umbilical, with new topsides reception facilities on the platform, in addition to new chemical injection equipment. In the Northern North Sea, Petrofac has secured a two-year extension from Lundin Britain to its management contract on the Heather and Thistle platforms.
