Petrobras contracts subsea trees from FMC

A frame agreement covering supply of 30 subsea trees and related equipment for water depths of 2,000 m was signed between Petrobras and FMC Technologies.

HOUSTON -- A frame agreement covering supply of 30 subsea trees and related equipment for water depths of 2,000 m was signed between Petrobras and FMC Technologies.

FMC has an initial order for five trees which will be engineered and manufactured at FMC's Rio de Janeiro plant.

If all the trees under consideration are ordered, the agreement will be worth $80 million over three years.
