HOUSTON -- Argus Subsea plans to feature its new subsea tree system designed to allow subsea wells to come online faster while decreasing installation time and increasing operational safety and reliability.
The new subsea tree, set to launch in 2009, is 80% ready to go right off-the-shelf with a few custom tweaks to meet client specifications. For producers in marginal fields and early production systems, Argus says this availability and flexibility can save time getting to production.
"Argus focuses on the development of new technology that will bring subsea wells, fast-tracked projects, online in a period of time that has never been seen before in the industry," said Carl Aubrey, general manager of Argus Subsea.
