BJ Services awarded Technip Canada EPCI contract

Technip Canada has awarded BJ Services an engineering procurement construction installation (EPCI) contract to provide subsea pile installation services.

ABERDEEN, UK -- Technip Canada has awarded BJ Services an engineering procurement construction installation (EPCI) contract to provide subsea pile installation services. Under the contract, BJ Services will carry out hydraulic hammer pile-driving services offshore eastern Canada.

BJ Services will drive a number of 24-in. (61-cm) and 36-in. (91-cm) subsea pin piles into the seafloor using S-200 subsea hydraulic hammers while working from Technip'sDeep Pioneer and Wellservicer vessels. The operation will be supported by BJ Services personnel from operations bases in St. John's and Lafayette.
