HOUSTON -- The oil Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF) is calling on Houston-based technology developers to provide solutions to subsea and subsurface challenges facing the global oil and gas sector.

ITF will be hosting two theme days in Houston to engage with operators, service companies, and technology developers. The subsea intervention will be held on Oct. 28 at the Hilton Houston Post Oak hotel. The second theme day, titled “imaging in challenging environments,” will take place on Oct. 29 at ConocoPhillips corporate headquarters. Further information is available at www.oil-itf.com.

“Houston is the energy capital of the world and with many of our members operating out of Houston, we are putting the ITF process to the test here,” says Neil Poxon, ITF’s MD. “The wealth of innovation and new technology that comes out of the city is impressive and in relation to these two technology themes, Houston is where the knowledge is centered.”
