BP has awarded DOF Subsea Angola a $21-million contract for well positioning, acoustic rig moves, and verification services for block 31 offshore Angola.

BERGEN, Norway -- BP has awarded DOF Subsea Angola a $21-million contract for well positioning, acoustic rig moves, and verification services for block 31 offshore Angola.
The five-year project involves the design, manufacture, installation, and positioning of approximately 40 transponder frames. The equipment will be used by DOF Subsea for acoustic rig moves and by the block 31 subsea installation contractors to support installation activities.
