EMAS AMC scores deepwater construction contracts in GoM, off West Africa

EMAS AMC has signed contracts totaling more than $65 million for projects in the Gulf of Mexico and offshore West Africa.

SINGAPORE –EMAS AMC has signed contracts totaling more than $65 million for projects in the Gulf of Mexico and offshore West Africa.

In the GoM, EMAS AMC will introduce itsLewek Falconsubsea construction vessel on a long-term project with the Walker Ridge Gathering System in 2,500 m (8,200 ft) water depth.

The scope of work on the natural gas system includes transportation and installation of suction piles, manifolds, and jumpers as well as pipeline pre-commissioning support. Work is expected to start in the first half of 2013.

Off Equatorial Guinea, EMAS AMC has extended an existing service agreement with ExxonMobil for subsea engineering, subsea construction, and ROV support through 2014.
