Natuna Sea subsea controls order goes to FMC

FMC Technologies has agreed to provide subsea controls to PT Rajawali Swiber Cakrawala for the South Belut field development in the South Natuna Sea.

HOUSTONFMC Technologies has agreed to provide subsea controls to PT Rajawali Swiber Cakrawala for the South Belut field development in the South Natuna Sea.

South Belut is in the block B PSC in water depths of about 334 ft (102 m). FMC will deliver a topside and subsea distribution control system under an extension of an EPC contract with ConocoPhillips.

Equipment will be supplied from FMC facilities in Malaysia and Norway, with delivery starting in 2Q 2013. The contract value is $40 million.
