EMAS AMC assigned Troll cable lay

ABB (NYSE:ABB) has contracted EMAS AMC to install subsea power cables from the Troll A concrete gas production platform in the North Sea.

SINGAPORE – ABB (NYSE:ABB) has contracted EMAS AMC to install subsea power cables from the Troll A concrete gas production platform in the North Sea.

TheTroll field holds about 40% of Norway’s proven offshore gas reserves.

EMAS AMC’s Lewek Connector (ex-AMC Connector) will perform the installations during spring 2014.
