LUXEMBOURG – Subsea 7 won a $70-million contract for subsea construction services associated with pipeline replacements northeast of Shetland.

The project includes the fabrication and installation of 27 km (17 mi) of replacement pipeline and associated tie-ins to the existing infrastructure.

The contract will be engineered and managed from Subsea 7’s Aberdeen offices, with offshore work scheduled to start in 3Q 2013.
