Teledyne secures Aker Solutions subsea support contract

THOUSAND OAKS, California – Aker Solutions has awarded Teledyne Oil & Gas a contract for materials and engineering support covering subsea electrical and optical wet-mate interconnects for the Kaombo block 32 development offshore Angola. Shipments are expected to begin late in 4Q 2014 and to continue throughout 2015.
In April, Aker Solutions also announced the award of a contract fromTotal to provide a subsea production system for the Kaombo block 32 development. The project includes the delivery of 20 subsea manifolds, 65 vertical subsea wellsets, as well as associated controls and workover and tie-in systems.
