Grenland Group to provide Gjøa structure engineering

Technip has awarded Grenland Group a $7.7 million contract for fabrication and detailed engineering for the Gjøa structures, tie-ins, and RFO project.

PORSGRUNN, Norway -- Technip has awarded Grenland Group a $7.7 million contract for fabrication and detailed engineering for the Gjøa structures, tie-ins, and RFO project.

The total weight of the structures will be approximately 500 metric tons (552 tons) at delivery.

The project will be executed in Grenland Group's yard in Tønsberg with delivery scheduled for spring 2009.
