BROUSSARD, Louisiana -- Delmar Systems Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply subsea connectors for the world's first FPDSO. The vessel will be used for Murphy's West Africa Azurite project.
Delmar was awarded the supply contract by Prosafe, who is responsible for the conversion and installation of the FPDSO vessel.
"We are pleased that Murphy and Prosafe have chosen our mooring connector," says Brady Como, Delmar's executive VP. "Our connector is proven in the industry as this project marks the seventh permanent installation to use Delmar Subsea Connectors across the globe."
