DAVIS, California – Global Industries has ordered from Schilling Robotics a UHD ROV system for delivery in 3Q 2011.
Schilling says the 200 shp, 4,000 m (13,123 ft) rated ROV will come with a 1,500 m (4,921 ft) capacity launch and recovery system as well as topside control equipment.
“Global continues to invest in developing a world-class fleet of pipelay and installation support vessels to meet market demand,” noted Matt Osborne, worldwide director of operations.
