OSLO, Norway – Endeavour Energy UK has contracted Aker Subsea to supply umbilicals and associated equipment for the East Rochelle development project. The contract value is around $15 million.

Aker Solutions will supply one 30-km (18.6-mi) infield control umbilical and one 650-m (2,132-ft) riser umbilical that together will provide all system functions for the Rochelle field.

East Rochelle, in UK central North Sea block 15-27, will tieback to Nexen’s Scott platform. This represents the first-phase development of the Rochelle area. Endeavour operates East Rochelle.

Aker Solutions' complex in Oslo will manage engineering of the umbilicals, with manufacturing to be performed at the company’s plant in Moss, Norway. Final deliveries are due next year.
