Offshore staff
HOUSTON – China National Offshore Oil Corp. has ordered $85 million in subsea production equipment from FMC Technologies Inc.
The hardware is for the Liuhua 4-1 development which will have eight subsea trees and tieback to the existing Liuhua 11-1 field. Deliver is scheduled to begin in 4Q 2011.
Liuhua 4-1 is in water depths of 850-1,000 ft (260-300 m) in the South China Sea about 130 mi (215 km) off Hong Kong.
