InterMoor to supply suction piles for Jack & St. Malo

Cameron International Corp. has contracted InterMoor to design and fabricate 11 suction piles for the Jack & St. Malo fields in the Gulf of Mexico.

HOUSTON – Cameron International Corp. has contracted InterMoor to design and fabricate 11 suction piles for the Jack & St. Malo fields in the Gulf of Mexico.
The piles will be 18 ft in diameter, from 55 ft to 75 ft long, and weigh as much as 115 tons. Water depth at the Walker Ridge block reaches 7,000 ft.
InterMoor will build the piles at its new 24-acre Morgan City, Louisiana, facility. The last pile is scheduled for delivery in January 2012.
