LONDON -- Plexus Holdings has agreed to supply wellheads and mudline systems for a five-well exploration campaign offshore Norway.
Under the £3.3-million ($5.27 million) contract, the company will provide its POS-GRIP wellheads and mudline suspension systems to a consortium of oil companies led by Centrica, and including Det norske oljeselskap and Faroe Petroleum.
Plexus will supply Centrica with its POS-GRIP, HP/HT 18-3/4-in. 15,000 psi (1,034 bar) and standard POS-GRIP 10,000 psi (689 bar) wellheads for the five wells in the Norwegian North Sea. There is also an option for a further three wells, lifting the contact value by around £2 million ($3.2 million).
