GE ships final subsea trees to Chevron’s Gorgon Project

GE Oil & Gas (NYSE:GE) has completed assembly of the final group of subsea production trees for Chevron’s (NYSE:CVX) Gorgon Project offshore Western Australia.

ABERDEEN, UK –GE Oil & Gas (NYSE:GE) has completed assembly of the final group of subsea production trees for Chevron’s (NYSE:CVX) Gorgon Project offshore Western Australia.

The 20 subsea trees are the first 7-in., full-bore trees produced by GE. The final shipment is on its way to Perth for pre-installation testing before deployment into1,350 m (4,429 ft) water depths at Greater Gorgon.
