STAVANGER, Norway – Ocean Installer has completed a mooring recovery and reinstallation project at a production facility in the ultra-deepwater Gulf of Mexico. This was the company’s first mooring job at such water depths.
The project was executed by the company’s Houston operating center and covered management, detail engineering, planning, mobilization, material handling, transportation, recovery- and re-installation operations to replace the mooring lines.
The construction support vesselNormand Clipper was used for the offshore campaign, which took place during 2Q 2016.
