BANGKOK, Thailand – Mermaid Subsea Services has secured a two-year ROV subsea services contract in the Gulf of Thailand from an unnamed major upstream oil and gas company.
Scope of work includes structure and sea line inspection, free span correction and corrosion prevention.
Mermaid will deploy its DP-2 ROV support vesselMermaid Sapphire and a deepwater work-class ROV, plus associated equipment and specialist personnel.
Value of the contract for the initial term is around $10 million.
