Subsea 7 develops Campos basin

Modec International hs awarded Subsea 7 a $30 million subsea installation contract to develop the Bijupira/Salema fields. The two fields are adjacent to each other in Brazil's Campos basin in 1,575 ft to 2,890 ft.
The contract involves subsea and floating, production, storage, and offloading installation. The work will be managed and operated from Subsea 7's base facility in Rio de Janiero. Toisa Perseus and K3000 or Lochnager flexible lay vessels will carry out the work to begin Nov. 2.
