Subsea 7 receives Marathon award

Marathon Oil Co. has awarded a contract to Subsea 7 for the provision of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services. Work will take place from the GSF Arctic III drilling rig, located on the Dragon field, 40 km off the west coast of Wales. The contract is valued at $250,000.

(Wales, UK)-Marathon Oil Co. has awarded a contract to Subsea 7 for the provision of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services. Work will take place from theGSF Arctic III drilling rig, located on the Dragon field, 40 km off the west coast of Wales. The contract is valued at $250,000.

The ROV drill support activities will be performed using the 120 HP Centurion HD Workclass ROV system, which is currently installed onboard the rig.
