KINDERDIJK, the Netherlands — Royal IHC will supply US cable installation contractor Caldwell Marine International (CMI) with an Amphibious Hi-Traq Jetter.
According to Brett Bailey, general manager at CMI, the subsea tracked trenching vehicle will strengthen the company’s cable burial capabilities, notably for complex submarine cable installations, and expand its offering for the US offshore wind sector.
Royal IHC’s scope of supply includes and eductor system, a combined power and control cabin upgraded with the latest SCADA system, a power/control umbilical and an umbilical reeler.
The company will work with its suppliers to provide fabrication, assembly and final testing in Blyth, northeast England.
