Skandi Acergy to install subsea structures offshore West Africa

STOREBØ, Norway — DOF Group has a secured a SURF program offshore West Africa involving use of the Skandi Acergy subsea construction vessel.

The work, with a potential value of up to $100 million, involves 326 firm work days with options for a further 75 days and is due to start during the fall.

DOF Subsea Atlantic will provide project management, engineering, design, analysis and survey services including pre-commissioning and installation of the SSIV umbilical, spools, risers and flying leads.

Project management will be split between the company’s offices in Bergen and Aberdeen.
