    Aker BP extends Subsea7 Norway agreement

    Aker BP has extended its frame agreement with Subsea7 by four years to year-end 2028.

    LUXEMBOURG — Aker BP has extended its frame agreement with Subsea7 by four years to year-end 2028.

    This covers engineering, fabrication and installation activities for subsea umbilical, risers and flowlines for Aker BP’s field developments offshore Norway.

    Monica Th. Bjørkmann, senior vice president for Subsea7 Norway, said, “The strategic partnership enables Subsea7 to engage early in the field development process, optimizing design solutions and contributing to positive final investment decisions for future projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf."

    With this award, Aker BP says it has placed all major fixed facilities contracts in the Yggdrasil area, and it is in line with its execution plan.
