OSO, Norway — FutureOn has signed a software license agreement with Petoro, which manages the Norwegian state interests in oil and gas projects.
The FieldTwin Design software is a visualization and collaboration platform that will help Petoro work more closely with operators in projects’ early phase evaluations.
According to FutureOn, the software will assist complex subsea development concepts in particular, leading to reduced risk at project decision points.
FieldTwin Design allows operators to design, create and maintain a digital copy of physical field facilities, connecting disparate data and providing an accurate visual representation of offshore projects in a fully georeferenced environment.
In this way, Petoro staff should be able to optimize project design, equipment, field operations and well production.
