STAVANGER, Norway – OMV (Norge) has awarded TechnipFMC the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the subsea production system for the Iris-Hades gas-condensate development in the Norwegian Sea.
The scope includes the umbilicals, risers and flowlines. TechnipFMC’s NOK30- million award includes an option for engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) should the development go forward.
The Iris Hades field is on the Haltenbanken, close to the Morvin field. OMV Norge plans a four-slot subsea template with three producing wells tied back to the Equinor-operated Åsgard B platform.
Other partners are Equinor, DNO Norge and Spirit Energy.
