    TechnipFMC to deploy Deep Arctic for Kristin Sør tieback

    TechnipFMC will use its dive support vessel Deep Arctic for an EPCI contract for the Kristin Sør subsea tieback in the Norwegian Sea.

    PARIS – TechnipFMC will deploy its dive support vessel Deep Arctic for an EPCI contract for the Kristin Sør subsea tieback to the Kristin platform in the Norwegian Sea, announced yesterday by Equinor.

    The company will supply rigid pipelines, static and dynamic umbilicals, also installing pipelines and the subsea production facilities.

    The Deep Arctic is equipped with hybrid battery solutions to reduce emissions.

    TechnipFMC’s operating center in Oslo is managing the work, with fabrication taking place at the company’s facilities in Norway and the UK.
