OneSubsea has awarded Peterson a one-year logistics services contract to support activity on BP’s Matapal project offshore Trinidad and Tobago.

ABERDEEN, UK – OneSubsea has awarded Peterson a one-year logistics services contract to support activity on BP’s Matapal project offshore Trinidad and Tobago.

This is a three-well subsea tieback to the Juniper platform, designed to develop gas discovered in 2017 via the Savannah exploration well.

Matapal, with a projected production capacity of 400 MMcf/d, is due to come onstream in 2022.

Peterson will provide turnkey logistics support to OneSubsea, including heavy moving and lifting, materials management, loading and discharging and associated services for three of the subsea structures.

Mobilization will start this month from the ChagTerms base in Chaguaramas and will continue through June 2021.
