TotalEnergies prolongs scope of rig contract

TotalEnergies has extended the contract of the Deepsea Mira rig in Africa to cover an extra well.

The extension will take effect this October, with an option for a further well.

If taken up, this could add up to $36.9 million to the backlog of the rig owner Northern Ocean.
