Seadrill selling three tender-assist rigs

Seadrill has entered agreements to sell three offshore tender-assist rigs to affiliates of Energy Drilling (Edrill) for about $85 million.

HAMILTON, Bermuda — Seadrill has entered agreements to sell the offshore tender-assist rigs West Vencedor, T-15 and T-16 to affiliates of Energy Drilling (Edrill) for about $85 million.

Currently Edrill handles operations and marketing of the rigs under existing arrangements.

Pending clearance, the transaction should close next month.
