KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Velesto Drilling has a letter of award from Vestigo Petroleum to provide the NAGA 2 jackup rig for a $10.9-million drilling program offshore Malaysia.
The contract covers five firm wells and is due to start in fourth-quarter 2023.
Velesto Drilling describes NAGA 2 as a premium independent-leg cantilever jackup capable of drilling up to a depth of 30,000 ft and in waters up to 350 ft deep.
