    Prosafe accommodation rig lengthens stay at Montrose in the North Sea

    Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has exercised further options to extend the charter of the accommodation semisubmersible Safe Boreas in the UK central North Sea by 17 days.

    LARNACA, Cyprus – Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has exercised further options to extend the charter of the accommodation semisubmersible Safe Boreas in the UK central North Sea by 17 days.

    The firm operational period of the rig alongside theMontrose A platform now runs until Feb. 27, 2017.

    Contractor Prosafe is continuing with the reduced option periods’ day rate in line with market conditions.

    Repsol Sinopec can extend the rig’s stay further via weekly options.
