Etive arrives in Aberdeen

Subsea contractor TSMarine (Contracting) has taken delivery of a new multi-purpose support vessel, the REM Etive. It is berthed currently in Aberdeen harbor.

ABERDEEN, UK --Subsea contractor TSMarine (Contracting) has taken delivery of a new multi-purpose support vessel, the REM Etive. It is berthed currently in Aberdeen harbor.

The 93.5-m (306-ft) long vessel was built to the Marin Teknikk MT 6016 design at the Kleven shipyard in Norway. TSMarine has taken it on a five-year charter from Rem Maritime, and will use it on a range of projects, mainly in the North Sea.

TheEitve can perform diverless subsea decommissioning and intervention, rigless well intervention, wellhead and subsea infrastructure abandonment, subsea tree change-out, and subsea construction support. TSMarine has integrated its two 150 hp work ROVs, Quantum V and Quantum VI, onto the vessel.
