AGR books Sedco 704 for eight wells

The semisubmersible Sedco 704 has sailed from Invergordon in Scotland to start an eight-well multi-client campaign for AGR Group in the UK North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK --The semisubmersible Sedco 704 has sailed from Invergordon in Scotland to start an eight-well multi-client campaign for AGR Group in the UK North Sea.

The rig recently underwent upgrades to its drilling equipment and accommodation modules. Operators subscribed to the program so far include Century Exploration, Dana Petroleum, Fairfield Energy, OMV, and Serica Energy.

AGR's Petroleum Services division will provide well project management from design and planning through equipment supply and operations supervision. The group also has chartered the jackupEnsco 85 for a single-well program for Sterling Resources.
