SINGAPORE -- Buruna Raya Logistics (Indonesia) has signed an order with Strategic Marine's Singapore facility for three 31-m (102 ft) offshore service vessels (OSVs).

Powered by three Cummins KTA 38 engines providing a combined 3,600 bhp, each OSV will be capable of reaching a maximum speed of 27 knots. Each vessel will seat 50 passengers, provide accommodation for a crew of eight, and carry up to 134 metric tons (147.7 tons) of cargo on a 67 sq m (721 sq ft) cargo deck area, Strategic says.

The vessels are to be built in Strategic Marine's Singapore facility, with pre-fabrication work done at the Australian Marine Complex in Western Australian.

Deliver of the third hull is scheduled for Feb. 2009.
