Petrobras agrees to Brazilian shipyard lease

Companhia Brasileira e Diques has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Petrobras for the Inhaúma Shipyard, otherwise known as the Ishibras yard.

RIO DE JANEIRO -- Companhia Brasileira e Diques has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Petrobras for the Inhaúma Shipyard, otherwise known as the Ishibras yard.

The yard, in Guanabara Bay, has a draft of 7 m (23 ft), and may be used to convert vessels into FPSOs. It will also serve as a support base for ferries owned by Petrobras.
