Shell Philippines Exploration has awarded Prosafe a Letter of Award (LoA) for the provision of the accommodation rig Safe Astoria at the Malampaya shallow water platform offshore Palawan, Philippines.

LARNACA, Cyprus -- Shell Philippines Exploration has awarded Prosafe a Letter of Award (LoA) for the provision of the accommodation rig Safe Astoria at the Malampaya shallow water platform offshore Palawan, Philippines.

The contract linked to the LoA has a firm duration of 212 days including mobilization and demobilzation and has a total value of about $25.7 million.
