F&G to design drilling barge

AMSTERDAM -- Friede & Goldman has entered into contract with KC KAZAKH (The Netherlands) for the design of a drilling barge to operate in the shallow waters of the North Caspian Sea.

F&G will conduct the design effort for the newbuild drilling barge in coordination with Korea National Oil Corp. (KNOC), which has been appointed by Korean Consortium as the representative company to act on behalf of KC KAZAKH B.V.
