Gulmar takes delivery of newbuild vessel

Gulmar Offshore has taken delivery of the Gulmar Atlantis from Hanjin shipyard in South Korea.

SHARJAH, UAE – Gulmar Offshore has taken delivery of the Gulmar Atlantis from Hanjin shipyard in South Korea. The first of two newbuilds ordered by Gulmar, the Atlantis is a diving/ROV support vessel.

It has an 18-man, 300 m (985 ft) diving system with twin bells and twin hyperbaric lifeboats. It has a 140 ton AHC crane with 2,500 m (8,200 ft) hook depth with a 70 ton load and a 40 ton crane with 600 m (1,970 ft) hook depth.
