Petrobras cancels DryShips vessel contract

Petrobras has informed DryShips that it has terminated a contract for the oil spill recovery vessel Vega Inruda as of April 8.

ATHENS, Greece – Petrobras has informed DryShips that it has terminated a contract for the oil spill recovery vessel Vega Inruda as of April 8.

The contract had been due to expire on Aug. 30, 2017, representing a loss in contracted value toDryShips of around $2.9 million.
