Ramform vessel schedule put back to 2016

PGS and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan have agreed on a revised construction schedule for two new Ramform seismic acquisition vessels.

LYSAKER, Norway -PGS and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan have agreed on a revised construction schedule for two new Ramform seismic acquisition vessels.

TheRamform Tethys and Ramform Hyperion, originally due to be delivered this year, will now leave the yard 1Q and 3Q 2016.

PGS estimates the cost of each vessel at around $285 million, including commissioning and a comprehensive seismic equipment package, but excluding capitalized interest and post-delivery cost.
