Shelf Drilling agrees to fee for Aban jackup

Shelf Drilling has entered an agreement to acquire the Deep Driller 7 jackup from Aban Offshore for $30 million.

DUBAI, UAE— Shelf Drilling has entered an agreement to acquire the Deep Driller 7jackup from Aban Offshore for $30 million.

The 2008-built Baker Marine Pacific Class 375 design rig is presently based in the UAE.

Assuming customary closing conditions, Shelf Drilling expects to take delivery in July.
