Offshore staff
ATHENS, Greece – The Energean Power FPSO has reached the Karish gas field location in the Israeli sector of the Mediterranean Sea, according to operator Energean.
This follows a 35-day, 5,532-nautical mile journey from Sembcorp Marine's Admiralty Yard in Singapore, with two tugs deployed to transport the vessel.
Energean will now start installation of risers and jumpers and commissioning of the offshore sales gas pipeline.
Following three to four months of commissioning, first gas could flow in the third quarter.
