MONACO – The hull for the FPSO Prosperity for the Payara oil field offshore Guyana has reached the Keppel yard in Singapore.

According to the FPSO provider SBM Offshore, the next phase of construction will involve integration of the topsides modules.

Drydock activities should get under way during 4Q with installation of major structures that will support the mooring and subsea risers.

The FPSO, engineered to produce around 220,000 b/d and to store close to 2 MMbbl, largely replicates the design employed for the Liza Unity, currently under construction at the same yard for the Liza field.

SBM Offshore expects the vessel to be completed as scheduled in 2024 for delivery to operator ExxonMobil.
