DOF Subsea wins two contracts in Brazil

BERGEN, Norway – DOF Subsea Group has secured two contracts in Brazil.

Sapura Energy do Brasil has contracted the construction support vessel Skandi Seven to install a riser and umbilical for an FSRU for natural gas supply to CELSE’s power plant. The project is for 20 days firm and 4 x 5 days options. It is expected to start next week.

For the second contract, TechnipFMC will use the pipelay support vessel Skandi Niterói for the SURF project for the Equinor-operated Peregrino Phase II in the Campos basin. Operations are expected to begin in the next few months.

The Skandi Niterói, a Brazilian flagged flexible lay and construction vessel, is owned by TechnipFMC and DOF under a 50-50 joint venture.
