Luxcara has contracted Havfram to transport and install 16 x 18.5 MW wind turbines for the 270-MW Waterkant offshore wind farm development in the German North Sea.
The location is about 90 km from the island of Borkum.
Havfram expects to perform the program during spring 2028, using one of its new wind turbine installation vessels that is under construction.
