    Fred. Olsen delivering Yunlin wind foundation structures

    OSLO, Norway – Shimizu has contracted Fred. Olsen Windcarrier to transport and install monopile foundations for the 8-MW 80 wind turbines for the Yunlin wind farm offshore western Taiwan.

    Operations will begin next February and are set to continue for about 200 days, with Fred. Olsen Windcarrier deploying the Blue Wind jackup vessel.

    In late August, Skyborn Renewables and its partners secured an extended financing agreement to complete the construction of Taiwan’s 640-MW Yunlin offshore wind farm development.
