ABERDEEN, UK  23 Degrees Renewables (23D) has completed trenching and burial works on submarine export cables and associated protection pipes offshore northeast Scotland for an unnamed company.

The work scope applied to three 225-kV submarine export cables and pipes for an offshore wind farm, with 23D deploying its tracked Subsea Trencher system.

Lengths of cable burial in the nearshore area were about 2 km per cable from the cable landing, leading offshore. In addition, the program included de-burial of anchors and rock bags on site.

The jet trenching spread was mobilized from the Green Isle multicat vessel berthed at Montrose Port’s North Quay on the east coast of Scotland.

OEG Group recently acquired 23D.
